What this website stores
Right now the only thing the Twilight 247 site stores in your browser is the choice you make in the cookie banner, saved in local storage under the name cookie_consent. The site loads its own scripts and styles from its own server and does not call advertising or analytics services run by other companies.
The categories below follow the ones used by Google's consent settings. They are listed so that, if we ever connect a measurement or advertising tool, the choice you make here already decides whether it may run.
What each category means
Advertising Storage: Would let an advertising tool remember that you visited. No such tool is installed today.
Analytics Storage: Would let a measurement tool count visits and pages. No such tool is installed today.
Advertising User Data: Would allow visit information to be passed to an advertising service. Not in use today.
Ad Personalization: Would allow advertisements to be tailored to you. Not in use today.
Functionality Storage (Essential): Used by the site itself, for instance to remember your cookie choice so the banner does not reappear on every page.
Personalization Storage: Would remember display or content preferences. Not in use today.
Security Storage (Essential): Reserved for protection against misuse of the contact form.

What is written to your browser
When you press Accept All, Reject All or Save Preferences, the page writes one entry to your browser's local storage. It contains a yes-or-no value for each of the five optional categories, a fixed “granted” for the two essential ones, and the time you made the choice. It does not contain your name, your email address or anything you typed into the contact form.
The entry stays on your device until you change it, clear the site's data or reset your browser. It is read only by this site's own pages, so it is never sent to us or to anyone else when you load a page. The banner appears again on any browser where no choice has been saved, including a private window opened for the first time.
What would change
Should we later connect a service such as Google Ads conversion measurement or an analytics tool, it would be set to wait for your consent: it would stay switched off unless the matching category here is allowed, and refusing a category would leave the site working as it does today.
Before any such tool goes live we would add it to the list above by name, say what it records and for how long, and update the date at the top of this page. The Advertising Disclosure page would be updated at the same time.
Things you will not find on these pages
- Social-media buttons or embedded feeds that report your visit to another company
- Embedded maps or videos, which would load content from outside servers; our address is given as plain text
- Web fonts fetched from a font service; the site uses the typefaces already on your device
- Tracking pixels, fingerprinting scripts or cookies set by other companies
- Any record of which pages you read, other than the ordinary server logs described in the Privacy Policy
Why there is no external-transmission notice yet
Japan's Telecommunications Business Act asks website operators that send information about visitors to other companies, for example to an advertising or analytics service, to tell visitors what is sent, to whom and for what purpose. This site sends nothing of the kind when a page opens, so there is nothing to list at present.
If that changes, the notice will be added to this page with the name of each recipient and the purpose, and the matching consent category above will govern it. Until then, the single stored choice described here is the whole of what the site keeps in your browser.
Other ways to control storage
- Clearing site data in your browser removes the saved choice, and the banner will ask again on your next visit
- Most browsers can block or delete cookies and local storage for individual sites
- Declining optional categories does not change what you can read or whether you can send us an enquiry
